Comments:

Graduated from Bethany in May 1985 and began my first teaching job in McPherson, KS, at Washington Elementary School. I taught SMH/TMH Level 1 there for 4 years and then moved back closer to home. Met my husband and was married. I took another special education teaching job at the Great Bend Middle School, working EMH/TMH students. While in Great Bend I began working toward my Masters in School Counseling. In 1997 I left Great Bend to take my first counseling job in Lewis. After being there for 2 years and missing my special students I took a transition counselor position in USD 495, where I served as the Middle School counselor for 10 years. In the summer of 2015 I began a new journey as the Director of our special education cooperative. Love being back in the special education field!! Retired in 2018 and subbed in GB for 2.5 years and then started teaching at Pawnee Heights in special education.
